Kris Axell brings over three decades of experience in sales leadership, marketing, and consulting to the PMI team. He has worked with clients to improve business results across a variety of industries including technology, business services, healthcare, energy, financial services, and consumer packaged goods.
His successful career as a sales executive, combined with a solid background in training and development, has provided Kris with the expertise to help organizations build their selling skills, transform their sales methodology, and grow their strategic customer relationships.
Prior to joining PMI, Kris was Director, National Accounts for Corporate Visions where he engaged with global Fortune 500 clients to develop B2B messages and skills for more effective customer conversations. Before Corporate Visions, Kris served as VP, Business Development for Executive Conversations where he was responsible for global client programs designed to build skills for selling higher and broader in customer organizations.
Kris’ talent for creating high-performing teams began as a sales and marketing leader in the CPG industry. He spent over twenty years at the Coca-Cola Company, where he held a variety of sales leadership and customer marketing positions and played a significant role in their company-wide sales training initiative. It was here that Kris realized his passion for developing sales skills and key account strategies. As a member of the Global Sales Training Team, he launched training programs for negotiating and major account management.
Before joining Coca-Cola, Kris worked for Procter & Gamble where he created strong relationships with key accounts and held leadership roles in conducting test markets and new product introductions.
Kris holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Washington. He resides with his family in the Seattle area, and finds time to enjoy cycling and skiing, depending on the season.
